Birmingham has managed an adequate 4 points through the first 4 games of their season but will be looking to add a few more points to their kitty while they can. They need to bounce back after a disappointing tie with Stoke City and a loss to Tottenham. They fell victim to the Hotspurs thanks to a big game from Peter Crouch even though Lee Bowyer came through with a big goal. The team needs strong play from Bowyer and James McFadden if they hope to stop the losing streak and turn things around.

Aston Villa has had a bit of an up and down season so far this year. They have managed 6 points in just 3 games but still feel that they could have played a bit better. They managed to shut down Fulham in their last game and come away with a big win thanks to a goal from Gabriel Agbonlahor. However, they are going to need better all around play to really contend for a top spot in the EPL this year.
